Because I was up late sorting out my insurance issues I got up feeling fatigued to hell. I still had a bunch of things I needed to sort out including getting my shots, so I was up early organizing myself.
It was pissing down with rain when I left Naomis place but thankfully I went across the road to the thrift store and found a windproof jacket thinking it was waterproof and as I find out later it wasn’t.
I went the health travel center where the receptionist Karel who is really friendly saved me quite a bit of money giving me more of the injections needed for travelling around the south. All I wanted was the necessary one which is Yellow fever, I got this shot and got a tetanus booster and Measles Mumps Rubella Shot for free.. Oh on top of it all I got the consultation for a discount too. Thanks Karel!
I went to go CIBC to open a credit card account, it took a little bit of time but hopefully in 1-2 weeks I should have the card sent to Naomis address so she can send it to me somewhere on the west coast… wherever I end up staying for a while.
In the even whilst waiting for Naomi to get back from work, I sorted out more things for my trip and cook up a nice meal for the two of us (Mango BBQ pork ribs, with Quinoa and a salad). As a thankyou I bought her a nice Aussie wine she mentioned the other day.
I was still in a bit of pain from the injections, just an annoying ache so I took a sleeping pill and went to bed.
