I was absolutely ruined today. I was suffering from stomach cramps and that general hangover feel, not to mention a serious case of the shits. I'm not sure what caused it but I'm going to blame the "Columbian desert" i had a bit too much of last night.
I left later in afternoon with Stevie to go back to Taganga with some food and a new tent I bought in the huge supermarket in Santa Marta. My previous tent had lasted me for a good 3 years but it was looking a little haggard with it being repaired several times using ducktape and bamboo, it has seen me through a lot and it was very emotional it throw the thing away.
As I was feelin like crap I slept through the rest of the afternoon and cooked a nice curry dinner for Stevie and myself before heading back to bed.
Oh, Serene and Timmy were back in the hostel so it was great to catch up with them again.
