04/10/2010 Day 34
Money Spent: $5 entry at Coit tower and $4 for food.
Today I had to stick around San Fran because I had to pick up a part to fix my ipod at Muhammad’s (the guy I was suppose to couch surf with) place. Checking out where he lived was a bit surprising as he literally lived in the apartment building that you could see from Cyndi’s backyard.
Jeff head off today making his way further south, I don’t think it will be the last time I see him though because he is a bit of a slower cyclist and I reckon ill catch up with him down the road.
The Jerky I made was good, perhaps not as good as my first batch I made in
At 11 I left Cyndi’s place to do some sight seeing as it was very nice day, I cycled to Fisherman’s wharf to see the sea lions, went to go see Lombard Street which is San Fran’s most crookedest street and climbed to the top of Coit tower to get a fantastic panoramic view of the city.
It certainly was worth doing some of the touristy things in the city and I met some cool people along the way including an older Canadian guy who joined me for a little bit of a cycle around town. I would have liked to hop on one of those trams and hang off the side but my bike is cheaper and easier to get around on.
To get back to Cyndi’s place was a little confusing as I think I remembered names of roads from when I cycled home from the Mission district on Saturday night that threw me off a little bit, but after a bit of a detour and asking for directions I finally made it back.
I just chilled with Cyndi for the evening and watched tv.
