Money withdrawn: $100
Mum’s birthday today… Happy birthday!
Didn’t sleep too well last night as I was busy sorting out my shit online. I don’t like having a laptop beside my bed as I wake up halfway through the night to check out whats happening online.
I cruised about town around the area where Cyndi lives to see what was about, San Fran is a cool city with something new to see around every corner, whether a different ethnic area, city sight or more annoyingly another hill in which to climb.
Jeff sent me an email saying that he was looking for accommodation as the hostel he had only booked for one night was booked out for the rest of the weekend, I asked Cyndi if she could host him too and she didn’t have a problem with that.
I asked Jeff to come over as soon as he could as there was a free music festival called Bluegrass in Golden Gate Park that I wanted to check out, he took his time to get here but when we got to the festival it wasn’t to my liking.. country music and the atmosphere wasn’t too great even after a few beers. I personally like my Metal music festivals and country music is pretty much on the other end of the scale.
Cyndi invited her boyfriend over for dinner so I thought I would be a good idea to cook a good meal for the 4 of us.
I made spicy BBQ ribs with Mediterranean couscous and a leek and cauliflower tart.
Everyone was happy with the food and there was plenty of leftovers.
After some wine and beer I got in contact with Martha who I met a few days ago on the road. She told me she was going out but she ended up cancelling her plans because she wanted to spend some time with her boyfriend. This was annoying for me as I did fancy that girl.
Even still I decided to head out to check out the drinking scene in San Fran. I cycled there and met a random dude named Rufus, he was a pot dealer and a cool guy. We drank at 3 bars and then went to an after hours with some English girls, it was a good night out where I got absolutely smashed I was very surprised I got back home without any incident.
